We have been dying for a place like this in Gilroy for a while now. Motif offers a classy and elegant art based experience with nice interiors and furniture. I highly recommend this independent coffee house. It mixes an art house with coffee and treats. Please support independent coffee!!

Cafe Motif is very unassuming from the outside. It’s artsy inside with the hanging garden with plenty to do for kids but forget the scenery. The food is amazing. I got a taste of the breakfast burrito with thick bacon and the savory salsa . Also the matcha waffles with the blueberry compote was a hit. The mushroom empanada was fantastic. I also like they don’t push too hard with the tip screen either for a casual spot.

Stopped for a coffee before a long drive. Was expecting the worst from a coffee served at 7 pm but was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful space that is underutilized. Bought a dozen eggs from the owner as well! Stop in, you won’t regret it.

Love what they did to this place! The staff in the bar and chef Anna (if I got her name right) are very welcoming and very friendly. Made me come 3 days in a row lol. Glad to finally have a restaurant that offers Filipino foods in the area, the ube pancakes are amazing and the sisig is to die for! Highly recommend. A+

Super awesome atmosphere and the art is all so pretty. Food is deliciouse and their coffee is divine. I was in the AM, but they also have a great wine/beer and mocktails selection that I'll definitely be back to try!

Great customer service, really fun vibe and menu. I only stopped for a coffee and GF muffin but definitely will come back for a delicious meal. I love that they have a large variety of mocktails and GF options!

I had the pork tacos and they were excellent! The service was great and the cafe is beautiful. It is a combination of an art museum and cafe. I came to the cafe to get some work done and focus. It was perfect because it was quiet and had a calm vibe. I will definitely be coming again.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. They had a lovely woman singing and then opened the floor for Karaoke! It was really nice, the atmosphere was perfect. I had chicken adobo which was amazing, my husband had something that he enjoyed(can’t recall the name of it but I’ll post a picture) we also ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer yummy and they came with this sauce that took it to another level! Yessss everything was so delicious! Glad we stopped in.
